Environmental sustainability policy
Our commitment to environmental sustainability
Today, it is essential for everyone to make protecting the environment a top priority and to strive for maximum environmental sustainability in all service provisions.
C.A.A.P. has committed to protecting the environment, which is a central point of its corporate policy and strategy.
Our commitment to researching, applying, and monitoring all technological innovations aimed at effectively reducing harmful emissions from transport activities is constant and involves all collaborators,
partners, and customers.
To this end, the consortium holds a certificate confirming the proper execution of environmental protection activities. This is the Safety and Quality Assessment System (S.Q.A.S.) certification, a voluntary safety and quality assessment system for companies operating in the chemical processing sector.
This system monitors the company’s performance across different areas. Particularly concerning environmental protection, the certification ensures that the company not only complies with environmental laws but also takes proactive measures to minimise its operational environmental impact.
The consortium fulfils its commitment to sustainability through the following initiatives:
Producing clean electricity through the installation of a 200 kW PV system located on the warehouse’s surface within the parking area
Adopting a cutting-edge fleet with better-performing engines and tyres, using more ecological fuels, and promoting correct driving styles to reduce emissions and fuel consumption
• Monitoring performance and preparing sustainability reports
•Monitoring CO2 emissions
•Installing Adblue fuel and oil refuelling stations at our company headquarters to reduce supply routes
•Optimising load arrangements to increase vehicle capacity or to initiate deliveries with a full load.
In today’s rapidly changing world, environmental protection is not just a responsibility but a moral imperative.
In our commitment to environmental sustainability, we are not content with merely meeting minimum standards; instead, we strive and commit every day to surpass these standards. We adopt practical innovations that can gradually and effectively reduce the impact of our activities on the planet.
